It's that time of year - fall = football = homecoming = dance!

This years theme: Titanic!

Now that could have been a disaster!!!

Katie and a bunch of her friends got together and went to this years Homecoming dance as a group. As Freshman, none of them are ready to date and this took all the pressure off. All the girls had a great time staying out late, dancing and all that good stuff. Katie and I spent the afternoon together at Grandma's getting her all ready doing hair and make-up. We took lots of pictures before the dance at Grandma's and Dad's, but NONE of the girls took pictures at the dance!!!I can't believe how grown-up she is getting!

Matthew is playing varsity water polo for the second season at San Marcos High School! Last year was tough since it was the first time his school had a team in five years. There is alot of practice and hours and hours of swim workouts that go into the game. Matthew seems to love it, and has done really well, improving both years. Each game he plays all four quarters, unless he is fouled out, and is shooting and scoring. I am thinking there should be practices for the parents so we can get in shape like the boys! The '07 season left them with 1 win - 18 lost. So far in '08 they won their first game against rivals Mission Hills High School, and have gone into tie-breaker overtime in two other games where the Knights were ultimately defeated. This last weekend the team played in a five game tournament where the Knights placed fourth overall!! 3 wins - two lost. Now there are only five games left to go! Then it will be time for girls water polo in the winter where Katie will play!
