It's happened!
Ok - it's official!
At least in my book.
SPRING is here!
I took some pictures of my peach tree (Red Baron, which must be the best peaches ever) just a few days ago. I thought they weren't worthy of posting. Just tight little pink buds, not a flower in sight. Then almost overnight flowers! Lots of them! So hopefully we will have lots of peaches come summer!
The PEACH then.....
The PEACH now.....
here's the PLUM, not wanting to be left out!
Someday these might be LEMONS, so far none have made it!

First sign of spring...
Recently my freesia bulbs started sprouting, but no flowers yet, so no pictures,

the peach tree is full of buds, but nothing opening yet,
no action on the cherry or plum tree,
the lemon tree doesn't know whether it should grow or die -
but the forsythia is ready for spring!

Valentines day.....
Tulips are probably my favorite flowers. Next to Hydrangea' but they aren't really a flower - anyway, my sweet husband bought me the two most beautiful tulip plants. Yes, plants, not flowers. Flowers die. They have a short lifespan. Plants however can be planted, their flowers can be anticipated year after year. So when these two beauties are done blooming, out to my garden they will go. Four yellow bulbs and four pink. I think I will mix them in with some purple freesia I have. They will look amazing next year all together in the spring!

Thanks sweetie!
